Maternity portraits of 'A' & her belly - Seattle

When Seattle hits 50 degrees in January, it's time to take the belly photo sessions outdoors! Along with the rest of Seattle, 'A' and I caught the last couple hours of magical golden rays at Discovery Park. 'A' has some pretty tough skin, a necessary skill for parenting, as she boldly pretended she was still in Key West in her summer garb. If her mama's belly is any indicator, little 'A' is gonna be one smokin' hot baby.

Baby Matteo & Family

Baby Matteo was an absolute delight to photograph. In the warmth of his own home, he was free to be comfy in his birthday suit, feed when he was hungry & nap when sleepy. We love naps for the baby photos! All the while big sis Mia got to play with her shopping cart and toys, joining Matteo for some photos too. Beautiful photographs for a beautiful family!

Gubas Family

It was a glorious fall day photographing the Gubas family. And when I say glorious, I mean W-I-N-D-Y! I'm a fan of the invigorating spirit that Seattle chill brings to an outdoor photo shoot. The cold encourages movement, playfulness and a feeling of being alive. You can see that in the eyes of the entire Gubas family, and ooooh that beautiful afternoon sunlight brings out the inner warmth of Rob, Jo and the girls.
